Strathmore Introduces "Greener Options in Fine Art Papers"

Stevens 470 has created educational materials for Strathmore's "Greener Options in Fine Art Papers" campaign. This program was developed to educate retailers and consumers about Strathmore's long tradition of environmental stewardship, including manufacturing artist papers using wind-generated electricity, and having a wide selection of art pads created from recycled materials and alternative fibers. The campaign also included the introduction of a new charcoal pad line which is made with 25% hemp and 75% post-consumer waste fiber. Strathmore's large selection of environmentally friendly papers are an appealing choice for artists and students, an audience that has shown a preference for environmentally responsible products.

Strathmore® first introduced the program at The International Art Materials Trade Association (NAMTA) spring show. Stevens 470 created a cohesive show display and developed a wide range of materials that included large scale posters and signage, printed brochures and handouts, and pad covers for new products. Tools developed for retailers include point-of-purchase display signage and informative shelf talkers to educate consumers.
